PreferenceCenterData is our master JSON object that contains all the data that the preference center needs to in order to work.
Within it we have 4 other objects.
DataExtensions
DataExtensions is an object that contains individual objects pertaining to data extensions. While primarily populated by the available_subscriptions data extension, we also have publicaiton lists included in this object.

FeaturedSubscriptions
FeaturedSubscriptions is an object that we populate from the Featured_Subscriptions data extension

JourneyPublciationLists
JourneyPublciationLists is an object that we populate from the Available_Publication (not a typo, it’s actually singular) data extension.
The key matches the data extension name.
