The Alle-Kiski_Newsletter DE gets populated from a range of zip codes using an automation in the UPMC BU. The automation is called “Populate Alle-Kiski Newsletter”
The automation runs every Sunday at 1:30 am and pulls emails from the DE Total_Emails_and_Zip_Codes if the email has a zip code that matches a list of provided zips for the region. The Total_Emails_and_Zip_Codes DE has all emails with a zip code in All Subscribers, kiosk, Preference Center, or Causeway data.
The zip code emails only get added once and never overrides the current data in the Alle-Kiski_Newsletter DE.

The automation runs in this order to grab zip code based emails and insert them in Alle-Kiski_Newsletter:
- Grabs emails with matching zip codes from Total_Emails_and_Zip_Codes and overwrites the DE Alle_Kiski_Emails_Zipcodes with email address, category, subcategory, and date created
- Updates the DE Alle_Kiski_Emails_Automation with data from Alle-Kiski_Newsletter
- Updates Alle-Kiski_Newsletter with data from Alle_Kiski_Emails_Zipcodes as long as the emails are not in Alle_Kiski_Emails_Automation
- Updates the DE Alle_Kiski_Emails_Automation with data from Alle-Kiski_Newsletter
