Practice level email import process for Contactless Checkin

This was a one off import process for the Contactless Check-in email deployment. The process was executed in the Enterprises Business Unit.

• UPMC placed a excel file onto the Enterprises FTP
• The raw data was manually imported into the data extension located here:
  • Shared Items>Shared Data Extensions>Practice Level Emails>Email 1_0329>Patient lists>PatientList_Contactless_Checkin_EDIT
• An Automation called “PatientList_Contactless_Checkin_Audit” was created to check the email lists for duplicated emails, and to verify that we could not use first name personalization. The Automation also had an activity to deduplicate email addresses and place the records into the DE called PatientList_Contactless_Checkin_SENDABLE
  • There were several duplicate emails and invalid first names
• The data extensions used by this automation are located in this folder:
